Attractions along Phitsanulok-Lomsak Highway

This Highway is number 12 from Phitsanulok to the East pass the mountain so along this Highway there are many waterfall. You can find it at every 10 kilometers signs.

1.Wang Nok An waterfall or Sakunothayan Botanical Garden

Located at km.33 of this Highway. Turn right and go straight ahead about 1 kilometer. This waterfall has origin from Kek river. There are many trees and flowers in this waterfall and the waterfall is very beautiful also.

2.Kaeng Song waterfall

Located at km.45 of this Highway . It is bigger than Wang Nok An waterfall. There are many resturants there so you can take a rest there and enjoy the view of mountain and waterfall.

3.Poi waterfall

Located at km.59 - 60 then turn right and go about 2 kilometers. It is under supervision of Phitsanulok forest industry. It is decorated to be the beautiful park. It also has the restuarants and accommodations also.

4.Kaeng Sopha waterfall

Located at km.71 - 72. then turn right for about 2 kilometers.It is the biggest and also the most beautiful waterfall.So you can enjoy this place and relax your body. A lot of people travel this place in every year.

5.Thung Salaeng Luang National Park

Located at km.80. It is one of the major large-forest areas with a total area of 1,262 square kilometers in two province, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun. Along which one can see beautiful lush green forests, high mountains with scenic winding roads. The major attractions of the park are Kaeng Sopha waterfall, Thung Nang Phaya, Thung Nonson and Thung Salaeng luang, etc.
