1.Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park

This National Park covers the total areas of 191,875 rais ( 76,750 acres ) and is about 130 kilometers from Phitsanulok provincial city. To reach the park is by taking Highway number 12 ( Phitsanulok - Lomsak ), turn left at Ban Yang for a further distance of 24 kilometers. At Ban Nong Kratao, then turn right along the elevated road another 31 kilometers. The park area mainly covers with evergreen forest with beautiful waterfalls and a vast plain of rock with cracks scattered all around. The highest point of the park is 1,617 meters above sea. So the weather is cold all year about 18 - 25 C ( 64-77 F ) and the minimum temperature is 0 - 4 C ( 32-39 F ) .Furthermore the place used to be a bloody battle field due the conflict in political idealism. Scars o f fighting still can be seen from place to place.

2.Chat Trakan Waterfall National park

It is located in Khao Ya puk area occupying a total plot of 146,875 rais ( 58,750 acres ) where an 7-levelled medium sized waerfall is the source of the Kwae Noi rivulet. To earch the park, proceed along Highway number 12 ( Phitsanulok - Lomsak ) to km.67-68, thence on Highway number 2013 and then to Amphur Nakhon Thai and Amphur Chat Trakan, a total distance of 145 kilometers. Or take a bus from Phitsanulok 7 times a day : 06.00 am., 07.20 am.,09.30 am.,11.30 am.,03.20 pm.,04.30 pm.

3.Phu Soi Dow National Park

It is located in Amphur Chat Trakan Phitsanulok and Amphur Nam Pard Uttaradit occupying a total plot of 48,962.5 rais ( 58,750 acres ) .It is the high mountain along borderland between Thailand and Laos. The highest point is 2,102 meters. It is cold all year.
