Phu Soi Dow Phitsanulok

On this high mountain about 1,800 meters you can find many beautiful and interesting things such as good scenery , beautiful flowers , and cold weather all the year.

Location

Phu Soi Dow National Park located in Phitsanulok and Uttaradit which is on the high mountain and it has the East border with Laos. The highest point is about 2,102 meters above sea level so you can find many pine trees on this mountain and also many kinds of moutain plants and many kinds of forests among the cold and wet weather.

Recommendation time to go

The good time to go there is in the end of rainy seanson to the beginning of the winter time , August to November

How to get there

  • From Phitsanulok

    First way Use Highway : Phitsanulok-Wat Boat District-Ban Pong Cae-Chat Trakan District-Phu Soi Dow. Total distance : 177 Km.

    Second Way Use Highway : Phitsanulok-Ban Yaeng-Nakorn Thai District-Chat Trakan District-Phu Soi Dow. Total distance : 154 Km.

    By Bus from Phitsanulok, use this bus departure time table : 06.00 am., 07.20 am.,09.30 am.,11.30 am.,12.50 pm.,04.30 pm. or use local pick-up round trip costs about 500 - 600 Baht.

  • From Uttaradit use the Highway No.1045 or 1047 pass Nam Pad District then turn right to use Highway No. 1239 and 1268 pass National Park center. It is suitable for adventurer only.
